Registered Nurse – Community / Home-Based Care
We are seeking experienced and patient-focusedRegistered Nursesto deliverin-home education and sub-cutaneous therapy supportfor patients prescribed specialist medications.
This is a flexible, community-based opportunity suited to nurses who enjoy autonomy, patient education, and working one-on-one in the home environment.
About the Role
In this role, you will support patients and/or their carers through:
Education and trainingon self-administered sub-cutaneous injections
In-home sub-cutaneous infusions, including pre- and post-observations
Documentation, reporting, and adverse event monitoring in line with program requirements
Visit Expectations
Patient contact to be madewithin 48 hoursof referral to arrange a mutually convenient visit
Visit duration:
Injection training: approx.1.5 hours
Infusion visits: approx.2.5 hours
Completion of visit documentation and time recordingwithin 24 hoursvia a secure online portal
Prompt reporting of any adverse events, incidents, or spills in accordance with protocols

Essential Requirements
CurrentRegistered Nurseregistration (AHPRA)
CurrentCPRcertification
Demonstrated experience withSub-cutaneous injectionsANDIV cannulation
High attention to detail and robust clinical documentation skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High level of computer literacy and confidence using online portals
Flexible availability (days and times)
Access to a safe, roadworthy vehicle
Current unrestricted Australian driver's licence
Desirable Experience
