About the Facility
Roshana Elsternwick Aged Care is a 45-bed facility in Elsternwick, overlooking Hopetoun Park and close to shops, cafés, cinema and local churches. The purpose-built home offers comfortable rooms, lounge areas, sensory space, gardens and barbecue area, with 24/7 nursing support.
We are looking for a
Facility Manager
to join our aged care team at Elsternwick, in a
(full-time)
capacity.
About the Role
As a Facility Manager, you will take full responsibility for the operational, clinical, and financial performance of our aged care facility. You will lead a multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centred care in a safe, supportive, and well-managed environment.
This is a senior leadership role suited to an experienced aged care professional who thrives on accountability, people leadership, and driving continuous improvement.
What You Will Be Doing
Oversee the overall operations of the aged care facility, ensuring smooth daily functioning
Lead, support, and develop clinical, care, hospitality, and support teams
Ensure compliance with aged care quality standards, legislation, and organisational policies
Drive a culture of person-centred care, safety,



dignity, and respect
Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and operational performance
Manage stakeholder relationships including residents, families, staff, and external providers
Lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure continuous service enhancement
Support workforce planning, recruitment, and staff development
Respond to and manage clinical and operational risks effectively
What You Will Bring
Background as a Registered Nurse or relevant health/aged care qualification (preferred)
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
Significant experience in aged care leadership or facility management
Strong understanding of aged care quality standards, compliance, and governance
Proven ability to lead and motivate large multidisciplinary teams
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Financial and operational management experience
A calm, professional, and solutions-focused leadership style
A National Police Clearance or NDIS Screening Check, or willingness to obtain this
