Vertical Fill Form Seal Machine Operator

Ki Carma Garden Products is seeking a highly motivated person who has experience in Automated Packaging Lines (Vertical Fill Form Seal Machine), to join our team located at our Victorian site in Dandenong South. Ki-Carma produces a wide range of products including soils, mulches, sands, gravels & decorative stones across Australia.

The person we are seeking enjoys a challenging, diverse role and can work well as part of a team. Your time will be valuable as you multi-task your way through the day. As our packaging machines are not common in Australia we understand you may not have specific experience on the exact machines, however, you will be willing and wanting to learn.
n
We are looking to fill Evening Shift positions. You will begin your training as a Casual on Day Shift and then become our Full Time Evening Shift team.
n
Bagging Plant Operator (VFFS) duties will include but not be limited to:
n
Reporting to the Site Manager
n
Manning our Automated Packaging Lines (supported by the Site Manger)
n
Be mechanically minded,



need to inspect packaging machinery daily and record & report faults
n
Forklift work will be required to move pallets off the line and around the yard
n
Equipment management and maintenance
n
Follow WHS systems
n
Be involved in month end stocktake and stock management
n
In order for Ki Carma to consider your application, you will ideally have the following criteria:

Experience on VFFS Machines
n
Good communication
n
The ability to understand and follow direction
n
Be reliable and dedicated to your role within the team
n
Driver's License and reliable vehicle or transport
n
Salary remuneration will be discussed after the interview process and reference checks, as it can range depending on the applicants experience and work history.
