About the role
n
Reporting to the Group Operations Manager and Site General Manager, you will:
n
n
Lead and motivate the production team
n
Champion a strong safety culture
n
Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives
n
Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical leadership
n
Manage production resources, workflow and performance
n
Maintain quality, efficiency and cost control
n
Ensure customer orders are delivered on time, in full and to specification
n
Work closely with other departments to improve overall plant performance
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
5+ years' experience in a production or manufacturing leadership role
n
Printing industry experience highly regarded
n
Experience with self adhesive labels or similar printed products preferred
n
Strong people leadership and communication skills
n
A practical, hands on approach to problem solving
n
Strong focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement
n
Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
n
Quality assurance experience highly desirable
n
Highly organised, motivated and results focused
