We're growing our Engineering Services team and looking for an experienced
Senior Civil Designer
to join us in either
Brisbane or on the Sunshine Coast
, with regular attendance at our Sunshine Coast office.

You'll work alongside experienced engineers, designers and project managers across a varied pipeline of civil infrastructure and land development projects throughout Queensland. And because we're a growing, agile consultancy, you won't just be another person working within a large design team — you'll have the opportunity to influence how we work, contribute ideas and help shape the future of our design capability.
What you'll be doing
Prepare and deliver civil design drawings and documentation for infrastructure and land development projects
Develop site layouts, grading plans, roadworks, drainage, earthworks and utility designs
Produce detailed drawings including sections, profiles, earthworks, pavements and stormwater systems
Undertake surface modelling, grading design and earthwork quantity calculations
Work closely with engineers, project managers and other disciplines to deliver integrated design outcomes
Review and update drawings and models in response to design changes, client feedback and project requirements
Contribute to design reviews,



coordination meetings and project discussions
Ensure designs and documentation meet relevant standards, project requirements and QA processes
Prepare drawing packages for approvals, tendering and construction
Contribute to digital engineering initiatives and improvements to the way we deliver our work
Share your knowledge and experience with developing designers and help strengthen our broader design capability
What we're looking for
You'll be an experienced civil designer who is confident working independently, comfortable taking ownership and enjoys solving problems rather than simply following a brief.
You'll ideally have:
5+ years' experience in civil design or drafting across infrastructure, land development or related projects
Strong experience with
12D and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D
Experience across earthworks, grading, roadworks, drainage, stormwater, utilities and subdivision design
Strong understanding of civil design standards and construction documentation
Experience with terrain modelling, volumetrics and design coordination
The ability to interpret engineering concepts and turn them into practical, accurate designs
Strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to quality
A collaborative approach and the confidence to communicate with engineers, clients and other stakeholders
