We are a 72-place, not for profit, community based service with 5 age-specific rooms, and 2 outdoor play spaces designed specifically for educating all children within the service.

Position Overview

Robyn Jane Children's Centre is seeking a experienced, passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our team. The position will be Part-time , commencing Term ******.

Develop and execute captivating programs tailored to each child's unique interests and needs.

About your new role

Creative Learning Experiences: Design and implement innovative and engaging educational activities that inspire curiosity and a love for learning.
n
Child Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Assess the needs of each child, monitor their progress, and ensure they are on track for school readiness.
n
Team Leadership: Mentor and lead your room team, promoting collaboration, reflection, and mutual respect.
n
Parent Communication: Maintain effective and open communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child's development and progress.
n
Community Networking: Build and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders in the local community to enhance the learning environment.

Transition to School Program: Develop and deliver a comprehensive transition to school program that prepares children for their next educational step.

A little about you
n
n
Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification as approved by ACECQA
n
Current VIT
n
Experience teaching in a Kindergarten setting
n
Current approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications
n
Current Working with Children Check and Police Check
n
Excellent understanding of the EYLF, NQF and VEYLDF
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
Ability to work collaboratively and lead a team.
n
Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
