Location: Open to candidates based anywhere across Griffith, Parkes, Condobolin, Wagga Wagga and the broader Riverina, with Griffith being the ideal location.
n
Ideal background: Diesel Mechanic, Mobile Plant Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or Automotive Mechanic.
n
PURPOSE
n As a Field Service Technician at SwarmFarm Robotics, you will be at the forefront of ensuring customer satisfaction and driving long term success with autonomous farming equipment. This is a hands on role that performs diagnostics and repair/maintenance on SwarmBot robots. It also encompasses customer engagement and liaising with the engineering team.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
n
Experience, Education and/or Knowledge
n
n
Practical experience in a trade or agricultural role is required
n
A trade qualification is highly regarded
n
Proven experience in customer relationship management, preferably in agriculture
n
Demonstrated ability to diagnose, repair and document low voltage electrical faults
n
n
Skills & Attributes
n
n
A passion for agricultural machinery and all things mechanical and electrical.
n
Robust problem solving, conflict resolution and organisational skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
n
Self-motivated with excellent time management skills, with flexibility to travel as required.
n
Strong communication skills and able to build rapport with farmers and staff.
n
Strong experience in Hydraulic electrical and mechanical repair.
n
Demonstrated Intermediate computer skills.
n

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
n
Customer Service and Support
n
n
Travel to customers to diagnose, repair and maintain all systems on SwarmFarm robots.
n
Diagnose electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
n
Provide "over the phone" diagnostics and first line support for hardware issues in the field.
n
Provide remote support after hours service when scheduled on call for support.
n
Support customers with hands-on training to ensure they can confidently operate and care for their robots as required.
n
Log and manage time and jobs through our ticketing and job record system, keeping records clear and up to date.
n




Build customer relationships by assisting with commissioning and delivery of new machines to avoid delivery delays, ensuring customer satisfaction.
n
Assist with training and support to help customers succeed with our technology.
n

Equipment and Professional Standards
n

Maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment in excellent condition.
n
Ensure parts are in good condition, accurately accounted for and reported onto job records.
n
Maintain professionalism and uphold SwarmFarm values when interacting with customers and partners.
n
Accurately report and document all field service activities:n

Customer feedback

Fault reports
n
Engineering change requests

Overall machine condition
