Position Overview
n
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate civil engineering drawings and documentation for residential construction projects. This is a role suited to someone with strong technical skills, attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

1.Review project requirements, engineering information and relevant specifications to establish drafting requirements.
n
2.Undertake site measurements and incorporate survey information and existing site conditions into project documentation.
n
3.Develop detailed civil drawings, plans and digital documentation using appropriate drafting and design software for residential construction projects.
n
4.Produce site plans and supporting drawings for residential building and site works.
n
5.Check drawings and documentation for accuracy,



consistency and compliance with project requirements.
n
6.Carry out relevant calculations to support project planning and construction.
n
7.Revise drawings and documentation to reflect design changes, site conditions and technical feedback.
n
8.Coordinate drafting and technical documentation with engineers, architects, project managers and site teams.
n

Qualifications and Skills
n
n
1.Diploma of Building and Construction or a relevant qualification in drafting, engineering or construction.
n
2.Proficiency in CAD and other relevant drafting and design software.
n
3.Ability to interpret engineering drawings, plans, specifications and technical documentation.
n
4.High attention to detail and accuracy in producing technical drawings and documentation.
n
5.Strong communication, teamwork and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
