Staff Specialist Anaesthetist
to join a supportive and progressive multidisciplinary team at a large regional base hospital in Northern New South Wales.
About the Role
This is a permanent full-time (or part-time considered) position within a busy Anaesthetic Department providing services across a wide range of specialties, including:
Orthopaedics
Obstetrics & gynaecology
Paediatrics (depending on experience)
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality perioperative care, supervising junior medical staff, and contributing to clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements
FANZCA or equivalent
Specialist registration with AHPRA, or eligibility via the Expedited Specialist Pathway or Area of Need Pathway or Specialist Pathway (with the ANZCA assessment outcome - Substantially Comparable)
Demonstrated experience in a broad range of anaesthetic procedures
Strong commitment to teaching, clinical excellence and patient safety
