Cultural and Enrichment Programs Administrator
Brisbane Boys' College is an established GPS day and boarding school founded in ****, dedicated to developing boys into worthy leaders and good citizens. Located just four kilometres from Brisbane's centre, we educate students from Prep to Year 12.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking a permanent, part-time role with flexibility. Working 0.8 FTE with hours spread across five days, this position offers a great work-life balance. This position is a term-time appointment within a vibrant and supportive school community, playing a key role in enriching student life through a diverse range of co-curricular opportunities.
About you:
You are an organised, proactive individual with strong administrative experience and excellent communication skills. You thrive in a dynamic environment, managing multiple tasks with attention to detail and efficiency. Passionate about supporting cultural and enrichment activities, you are committed to the development of students and align with the College's values. You work well independently and within a team, always meeting deadlines while upholding the College's Christian ethos.
Key Responsibilities:
Administration: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Head of Co-Curricular – Cultural and Enrichment Programs, including managing activity sign-ups, maintaining records, coordinating staff payments, and updating the College Calendar.
Event Administration: Assist in the planning and coordination of Cultural and Enrichment events, including musicians,



art shows, and theatre productions, from maintaining and updating information systems to front-of-house coordination.
Pipe Band Administration: Support the Head of Pipe Band with administrative tasks, including lesson scheduling, event coordination, and communication with parents.
Communications: Serve as the first point of contact for all Cultural and Enrichment enquiries, and maintain clear, timely communication with students, families, and staff.
Essential Skills and Attributes:
Significant experience in administrative and secretarial roles.
Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Strong attention to detail and high-level problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in various software packages and computer literacy.
Commitment to career development and the ethos of the College.
Ability to work autonomously in a busy environment, collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Mandatory Requirements:
Adhere to the PMSA Code of Conduct.
Comply with College policies, procedures and training requirements, including those related to Occupational Health and Safety, Risk Management, Child Protection, and confidentiality.
Positively support the College's traditions and Christian ethos.
All non-teaching staff must hold a current blue card for working with children.
