Job Description
Working approximately 5-10 hours a week, alongside the General Manager, you'll be responsible for planning and executing Berth's marketing across social media, email, website and content. The role is predominantly flexible/remote, however in office attendance at Berth is required approximately once a fortnight to stay connected with the venue, capture content, meet with the team and understand what's happening across the restaurant and events.

Key responsibilities

Developing and executing a social media and marketing growth strategy
n
Managing Instagram and other relevant social channels
n
Creating and scheduling engaging content across restaurant, food, drinks, events and venue experiences
n
Developing content plans and monthly marketing calendars
n
Growing engagement, reach and brand awareness
n
Marketing private events spaces and generating greater awareness of events offering
n
Planning and coordinating photoshoots and content days with photographers, videographers and creators
n
Identifying content opportunities, trends, partnerships and campaigns
n




Creating and sending email marketing campaigns
n
Updating website content through Squarespace
n

About you
n
n
Minimum 1 year of experience in marketing, social media or a similar role
n
Strong understanding of Instagram and short-form social content
n
Experience developing and executing social media strategies
n
Familiarity with email marketing platforms
n
Experience using Squarespace or similar website platforms
n
Confidence organising and coordinating
photoshoots/content
creation
n
Strong written communication and copywriting skills
n
An eye for branding, photography, food, hospitality and social trends
n
The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
n
A proactive attitude: bringing ideas rather than waiting to be told what to post
