We are looking for a strong compliance officer to join our corporate team!
The Illawarra Aboriginal Corporation (IAC) is a large and successful Aboriginal owned and operated, not for profit community organisation in the Illawarra which has been in operation for more than twenty five years. Wedeliver a range of programs to our community members including Housing, Homeslessness, Child Youth & Family Services, Home Care, Child Care, and Aged Care.

The Compliance Officer will work across the organisation and assist a variety of teams who provide a host of community based services.
We are looking for someone who showcases the following:
Aboriginality is desirable
Current NSW driver's licence
Demonstrated experience working within a similar role, or a role that focused on program compliance.
Knowledge and understanding of Aged Care Standards, Childcare accreditation standards and other external government program requirements.
Demonstrated strong attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to engage & work effectively with Aboriginal people and communities.
Solid interpersonal and communication skills
Effective time management and personal organisational skills
High level of computer literacy; sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
Ability to hold all relevant security clearances including the National Police Check and Working with Children clearances.
