My Care Keeper is currently seeking aProficient-level or above Behaviour Support Practitioner, approved by theNDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, to join our growing team.
About You:
Ideal candidates should have:
Current NDIS suitability at the Proficient levelor above (as confirmed by the NDIS Commission).
Experience inreport writing, especially developing NDIS Behaviour Support Plans.
Proficiency with NDIS reporting systems and case management software.
Previous experiencementoring or supervisingBehaviour Support Practitioners.
Strongtime managementand organisational skills.
The ability to workindependently,collaboratively, and in aleadership capacity.
A deep passion for supporting people with disability and a commitment to ethical practice.
Responsibilities:
As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will be:




Developing personalisedComprehensive and Interim Behaviour Support Plans.
ConductingFunctional Behaviour Assessments (FBA)using various evidence-based tools.
Implement strategies and interventions keeping the holistic well-being of the participants in focus.
Working closely with families, carers, and other stakeholders to improve participant outcomes.
Mentoring and supervisingCore-level Behaviour Support Practitioners.
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies and ethical guidelines and all work aligns withNDIS Quality and Safeguards Commissionstandards.
Accurately documenting restrictive practices and maintaining thoroughcase notes.
Monitoring participant progress through effectivedata collection and analysis.
Deliveringtraining and skill-building supportfor participants and their teams.
Qualifications:
Relevant qualifications in Allied Health/ Psychology/ counselling, developmental education or related fields (Master's and above preferred).
Australian Driver's license (Open C class).
NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance
Working with Children Check clearance
Police Clearance Certificate (not less than 6 months old).
