The Role:

We are seeking applicants who are skilled and reliable with a passion for foodandapositive team attitude. Reporting to the Head Chef, your responsibilities will include:
n
Preparing and cooking high quality Modern Australian dishes from our menu to consistently high standards
n
Assisting the HeadChef with the day to day running of the kitchen including coordinating kitchen operations and workflow and effectively communicating with front of house staff
n
You must be able to work efficiently, operate well under pressure and be willing to assist with training of junior staff and apprentices
n




Implementing and strictly adhering to workplace healthy, safety and hygiene regulations
n
What we are looking for:
n
Excellent communication skills andgood English isessential
n
At least two years experience in high volume kitchen along witha Certificate III or higher qualification in Commercial Cookery
n
Display exceptional culinary skills and a genuine desire to prepare and serve delicious food
n
Demonstrate leadership, attention to detail, strong customer service, and high standard of personal cleanliness and presentation
n
A thorough understanding and commitment to food safety and hygiene
n
