Are you an experienced A-Grade Electrician with installation or maintenance experience under your belt?

We are looking for another A-Grade Electrician (lift experience not necessary ) to join our team on a full-time basis to assist with our installation of a variety of lifts into building in and around Brisbane & Gold Coast.
n
We are looking for someone for the long term to train and grow with the company.
n
Full Training will be provided and a long term position for the right candidate.
n
What will you do:
n
n
Reading and interpreting blueprints to determine the layout of the systems components.
n
Installing electrical componentry in the correct order including shaft, car and controller.
n
Assembling, installing, testing and tuningelevators using hand and power tools, and testing devices such as test lamps, ammeters, and voltmeters.
n
An understanding of lift code requirements
n
Experience on PLC's
n
Responding to breakdowns in a timely manner to minimise downtime
n
Monitor and contribute to developing new maintenance schedules for equipment,



plant and other relevant data to identify faults and take action as necessary
n
Performing scheduled and ad-hoc safety checks as per instructions
n
Investigating failures and making recommendations to reduce risk and improve systems / processes.
n
Handover assistance and training of the installation to the end user
n
n
We are looking for a candidate who has;
n
n
Become a Qualified Technical Person
n
Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills;
n
Solid communication skills both written and verbal;
n
Solid knowledge and focus on quality;
n
A "can do" attitude
n
Drivers Licence
n
Physically fit – manual handling
n
Eagerness to learn and develop skills.
n
Can travel to sites in and around Brisbane & Gold Coast
n
