is supporting a major mining operator seeking experienced
Project Managers and Project Supervisors
to work in client-side roles supporting the delivery of surface and underground capital projects across remote mining operations in Queensland, the Northern Territory and Western Australia.
These opportunities form part of a significant pipeline of capital infrastructure works, including mechanical installations, underground infrastructure, utilities, materials handling systems and associated surface facilities.
Roles are offered on a contract basis with competitive remuneration packages.
FIFO roster options available (4:3, 8:6 or 7:7)
Flights available from Brisbane, Townsville, Cairns, Darwin and Perth
About the Roles
Project Managers will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of capital projects across surface and/or underground mining operations. This includes scope development, contractor engagement, budget management, scheduling and ensuring the secure execution of works in accordance with client procedures and standards.
Projects may include conveyors and materials handling systems, mechanical plant and equipment, pump stations, piping and water reticulation, ventilation systems, workshops and buildings, structural upgrades and other surface and underground mechanical infrastructure.
Provide client-side supervision of contractors delivering mining and capital project works across mechanical, electrical and mining-related disciplines. Monitor safety, quality, progress and compliance with the client's procedures, standards and site requirements, while coordinating day-to-day activities and supporting successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Lead delivery of capital projects across mining operations




Define scopes of work and manage project budgets and schedules
Manage contractors and oversee construction activities
Maintain strong safety leadership and compliance standards
Support commercial, procurement and contract management activities
Provide client-side supervision of contractors across mining and capital project works
Coordinate daily construction activities and monitor progress against schedule
Ensure works are completed safely and in accordance with client procedures, standards and site requirements
Monitor quality, workmanship and compliance with approved scopes and specifications
Liaise with contractors, Project Managers and site stakeholders to resolve issues and support project delivery
About You
Project Manager
Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Mining or Electrical preferred) or Project Management qualification
Experience delivering capital projects in mining, resources, construction or heavy industry
Strong commercial and financial management capability
Experience managing contractors and construction delivery
Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills
Experience working in client-side supervision or project delivery roles within mining or resources
Background in mechanical, electrical or mining-related projects, construction or operations
Strong exposure to mining operations, construction activities and site-based project environments
Experience overseeing contractors and coordinating day-to-day works on behalf of the client
Good understanding of safety systems, site procedures, quality requirements and contractor compliance
Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
