Job Description

MANTECH seeks motivated, career and customer-oriented Transportation Specialists to join our team in Hawaii, Guam, Australia, Japan, Korea and the Philippines.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: n
n
Analyzes and implements logistical functions to support the movement of equipment and supplies across diverse operational environments.
n
Maintain comprehensive databases for tracking asset distribution and ensuring the timely delivery of resources to users.
n
Approve support documentation and coordinate with external vendors to maintain supply chain continuity.
n
Leads reception and staging efforts at forward operating locations, facilitating the rapid integration of incoming mission sets.
n
Develop detailed movement manifests and coordinate the four segments of RSOI to meet operational timelines.
n
Manage local transportation services and conduct port surveys to identify optimal transit routes.
n
Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.
n
n

Minimum Qualifications: Senior Level n
n
High school diploma and 10+ years of position-relevant experience (a candidate holding a relevant Bachelor's degree may be granted 2 years' experience credit for that extra education).
n
Experience in formal document oversight and quality gate maintenance.
n
Midlevel n
n




High school diploma and 3+ years of position-relevant experience (a candidate holding a relevant Bachelor's degree may be granted 2 years' experience credit for that extra education).
n
Ability to draft technical logistics documentation.
n
Junior Level n
n
High school diploma and a familiarity with basic military logistics or transportation tracking tools.
n
Foundational knowledge of supply support activities.
n
Preferred Qualifications: n
n
Logistics or Supply Chain certifications.
n
Experience managing HAZMAT transport or specialized cargo handling in the Indo-Pacific region.
n
Clearance Required: n
n
Must be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance.
n
Physical Requirements: n
n
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
n
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
