About the role
MSS Security is seeking a
Full-Time Security Officer – Reliever
to provide security coverage across our client sites in
Gladstone, Rockhampton and Blackwater
.
This is a diverse role working across maritime, court, mining and static guarding environments, with duties including screening, access control, customer service and general security operations. The successful applicant must have
24/7 availability and flexibility to work across all three locations as required
, including DIDO shifts in the Blackwater area.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Monitor CCTV systems, perform access control duties and respond promptly to alarms.
Perform regular foot patrols to maintain a safe and secure setting
Provide excellent customer service with visitors, contractors and stakeholders.
Manage building access by checking IDs,



creating access passes, and authorising entry.
Skills & Experience
Full Australian Working Rights
Current QLD Security License
Current QLD Driver's License (Manual)
HLTAID011- Provide First Aid, HLTAID010- Provide Basic Emergency Life Support, HLTAID009- Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (or willing to obtain)
OH&S; Construction Induction White Card(or willing to obtain)
24*7 availability
including weekends
Willing to undergo and pass a National Police and Criminal History Check and full Medical Assessment, including a Drug & Alcohol test
Willing to obtain an MSIC (Maritime Clearance - MSS will fund for this)
