This is a hands‐on role within a busy engineering and manufacturing environment, primarily responsible for spray painting pipe, steel frame modules and fabricated components, along with assisting with general workshop duties when required.

About the Role
n
Your duties will include:
n
n
Industrial spray painting of steel pipes
n
Preparing surfaces prior to painting, including cleaning, masking and general preparation
n
Mixing and preparing paints and coatings as required
n
Applying coatings to achieve a consistent, high‐quality finish
n
Inspecting completed work for quality and coverage
n




Touch‐ups and rectification where required
n
Moving materials and components around the workshop
n
Assisting with general workshop and production duties when required
n
Maintaining spray painting equipment and keeping the work area clean
n
Following all workplace safety, PPE and quality procedures
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
Previous industrial spray‐painting experience
n
Experience painting steel, structural components or fabricated products highly regarded
n
Good knowledge of surface preparation and spray‐painting techniques
n
Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
n
Experience working within an engineering, manufacturing or fabrication environment advantageous
n
Physically fit and comfortable working in a hands‐on workplace
n
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
n
Commitment to workplace safety and quality
n
LF Forklift Licence highly regarded, but not essential
n
