Currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor looking to join our team in Newcastle.
n
The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for:
n
n
Providing cost estimation for feasibility studies
n
Preparing estimates of cost
n
Providing budget and cashflows
n
Provide post contract services including measurement, valuation and negotiation of variations, estimates of cost increase and advising on revised cost implications
n
Advising on construction methods and techniques, procurement processes, contract types and contractors
n
Formulating and implementing benchmarking processes
n
Monitoring the design against budget
n
n
We are keen to hear from candidates with:
n
n




Relevant tertiary qualifications in either Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
n
A positive and proactive approach
n
AIQS / RICS accredited candidates will be highly regarded
n
The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a project team
n
Excellent communication skills
n
Eligibility to work in Australia unrestricted
