You'll join engineers across Brisbane, London, and San Francisco shipping production software used by investment teams worldwide.
In the role, you will:
Contribute to Jacobi's core platform by building and maintaining production features used by institutional investment teams.
Architect and implement solutions to custom requirements for key clients
Collaborate with a global expert team across Brisbane, London, and San Francisco

Must have:




Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field (e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering)
0-3 years experience in software development
Proficiency in Java and Python with strong software development best practices
Experience interacting with REST APIs
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with a keen eye for detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced start-up environment
Curious with a passion for learning
Nice to have:
Databricks and Apache Spark experience
Prior experience in client-facing roles and client engagement
Knowledge and use of Git
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferably) and IaC tools (e.g. Terraform)
Study, experience or knowledge in economics or finance
