Selection Criteria

Demonstrated knowledge of the Western Australian and Australian Curriculum, with the ability to plan and deliver engaging, inclusive and differentiated learning experiences;
n
Demonstrate excellence in teaching and classroom management as a dynamic, cutting-edge and reflective practitioner;
n
An understanding of and the ability to differentiate the teaching and learning program to cater for student needs;
n
Ability to continuously analyse and use data to inform teaching and learning practices to raise student achievement;
n
Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal and organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, students and parents;
n
Be a positive, professional and enthusiastic teacher who demonstrates initiative, a growth mindset and a desire to continue to improve;
n
Commitment to evidence-based educational practices, particularly high-impact instruction;
n
A proven ability to plan collaboratively, implement whole school approaches consistently and take collective responsibility for students.

Be highly proficient in the use and integration of ICT skills, especially iPads;
n
Demonstrate an ability to lead by taking on roles within the school and being involved in extra-curricular activities.

Qualifications Required
n
Applicants must be prepared to support the Catholic ethos in the performance of their duties;
n
n
Relevant four-year tertiary qualification;
n
Accreditation to teach religious education learning area or the ability to achieve accreditation to teach religious education;
n
Be a practicing Catholic as demonstrated by a Priest Reference;
n
n
