About The Role: n
Whitsunday Regional Council is seeking applications for a Cleaning Officer to join the Open Spaces and Cemeteries team in Bowen.This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining Council's public amenities and facilities to a high standard of cleanliness, presentation and functionality, ensuring a protected and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of Council-operated public amenities and facilities.
n
Contribute to a positive experience for residents and visitors through quality service delivery.
n
Assist in ensuring public facilities remain safe, functional and well maintained.
n
What You'll Be Doing: n
n
Cleaning public amenities and facilities in accordance with approved cleaning schedules.
n
Undertaking minor maintenance and repair work, including graffiti removal and replacement of facility fittings.
n
Carrying out general labouring duties, including litter control and small plant operation.
n
Reporting repairs, faults and maintenance requirements.
n
Completing daily records,



timesheets and equipment checks.
n
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the cleaning program.
n
About You: n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Current C Class Driver Licence.
n
Commercial cleaning experience.
n
The physical capability to undertake the manual requirements of the role.
n
A strong commitment to safety, teamwork and customer service. ???????
