What you'll do
n
As a Casual Relief Teacher, you'll step into different classrooms and provide a safe, positive and engaging learning environment.
n
Your responsibilities may include:
n
n
Delivering lessons and programs provided by the classroom teacher
n
Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment




n
Supporting student learning, wellbeing and daily routines
n
Adapting quickly to different year levels, subjects and school environments
n
Following school policies, procedures and duty-of-care requirements
n
Communicating professionally with school staff
n
n
What we're looking for
n
You must have:
n
n
Current VIT registration – mandatory
n
Primary or Secondary teaching experience
n
Robust classroom management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Ability to adapt quickly and confidently
n
Commitment to student safety and wellbeing
n
Two professional education references, including a recent school-based referee
n
n
