About the Role
n
CAREWELL DIAGNOSTIX is seeking an experienced Radiology Receptionist to join our growing diagnostic imaging team in a permanent full-time position across our locations in Tarneit, Hoppers Crossing and Werribee, Victoria.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced medical or radiology receptionist who enjoys working in a busy clinical environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient service.
n
Our clinics operate Monday to Sunday, between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm, and the successful candidate will work their full-time hours across a rotating roster within these operating hours.
n
Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends is required.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly, skilled and compassionate manner
n
Scheduling, confirming and managing patient appointments
n
Managing incoming telephone enquiries efficiently and with empathy
n
Registering patients and maintaining accurate patient records
n
Understanding radiology referrals and assisting with appropriate appointment bookings
n
Managing patient billing and general reception enquiries
n
Supporting efficient patient flow throughout the clinic
n
Communicating effectively with radiologists, radiographers, sonographers and referring practices
n
Providing general administrative support to the clinical team
n
Maintaining accurate data entry and patient confidentiality
n
Following relevant privacy, health, safety and clinical practice policies
n

What We're Looking For
n
We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable and comfortable working in a busy radiology environment.
n
Ideally, you will have:
n
n




Previous radiology reception experience is needed
n
Alternatively, strong experience as a Medical Receptionist within a busy healthcare environment
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
A warm, friendly and empathetic approach to patient care
n
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
n
Confidence managing busy phones, appointments and front-desk responsibilities
n
High attention to detail and accuracy with patient information
n
Experience using medical practice management or radiology software
n
Knowledge of medical terminology and Medicare processes highly regarded
n
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
n
Flexibility to work across a Monday–Sunday roster, including weekends
n
