GAM Air operates a diverse turboprop and piston fleet across multiple bases, including Brisbane, Melbourne, and Adelaide, supporting established freight networks and specialist operations nationwide.
GAM Air is seeking experienced Direct Entry Captains to join our Brisbane-based Beechcraft ****D operation.
The B****D is now established within our operational fleet and is utilised on scheduled regional freight services from Brisbane. The position will involve rostered periods operating away from the Brisbane base, including overnight stays where required.
This is a demanding single-pilot IFR command role operating within a structured, time-critical freight environment. We are seeking highly capable, disciplined and reliable pilots who are comfortable operating independently, exercising sound judgement and maintaining a consistently high professional standard.
Applicants must be suitably experienced and capable of operating at command level from commencement.
This is not a training or pathway position.
Non-type-rated pilots, or individuals requiring differences training for the B****, need not apply.




Immediate commencement is available for suitable candidates.
CPL(A) with current Command Instrument Rating
BE**** command experience
Demonstrated substantial single-pilot, multi-engine, pressurised, turbine experience.
Current Class 1 Medical
Ability to obtain and maintain an ASIC
Experience & Capability
Pilots who are operationally current and self-reliant
Strong decision-making in dynamic and time-critical environments
Professional, disciplined approach to operations
Experience in structured or scheduled networks
Demonstrated commitment to safe operations and sound risk management
