This is a pivotal opportunity within our Transactional Services Team at our National Store Support Centre in Rochedale.
You'll combine hands-on transactional expertise with team leadership, mentoring and process improvement, while playing a key role in supporting the successful delivery of business and transformation initiatives.
As 2IC to the Transactional Services Manager, your impact will be to:
Lead, support and mentor the Transactional Services Team across onshore and offshore operations, including coordinating training and cross-training
Oversee core Accounts Payable processes, including invoice approvals and reviews, supplier payments, rent, month-end processing and reporting
Manage supplier onboarding and bank account changes in line with policy
Own the Dynamic Virtual Card program, including card issuance, compliance checks, cancellations and reporting
Oversee technician invoice processing and work with key stakeholders to resolve anomalies
Manage the AP email inbox and provide timely, professional support to internal and external stakeholders
Oversee ExpenseMe Pro and RapidAP administration, including employeeonboarding/offboarding,financial delegations, cost centres, project codes and expense types
Support Payment Times Reporting and other financial reporting requirements, providing accurate and timely information to key stakeholders
Step into the Transactional Services Manager role when required, providing leadership and continuity across the function
Contribute to transformation, process improvement and project initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency
What you bring




Experience in a high-volume transactional environment, ideally across Accounts Payable and Receivable
Experience leading, mentoring or supporting a team, with the confidence to step into a Team Leader role
Strong understanding of transactional finance processes and a high level of accuracy
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
A proactive mindset with a demonstrated ability to identify process improvements
A collaborative approach, strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
