Nautilus Aviation is seeking a motivated and hands-on Junior Store Person/Procurement Officer to join our agile Cairns-based team. This position supports day-to-day stores and procurement operations. You'll work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and freight partners to ensure smooth and compliant logistics keeping our aviation operations moving safely and efficiently. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with warehouse or procurement experience looking to grow their career in the aviation industry.
Nautilus Aviation provides training support, including enrolment in a Certificate IV or Diploma in Logistics. This qualification is completed over a
***** month period
and forms part of your professional development pathway within the organisation.
Key responsibilities
Receiving, inspecting, and storing goods
Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders
Assisting in purchasing, raising POs, processing invoices, and budget tracking
Maintaining accurate stock control and inventory records
Operating forklifts (if licensed) for movement and storage of goods
Supporting engineering with parts and materials
Handling local and international freight bookings and deliveries
Performing stock takes and general housekeeping
Ensuring safety, compliance, and secure stores operations
About you




Driver's Licence (essential)
Forklift Licence (preferred but not essential)
Strong communication and organisational skills
Physical fitness for manual handling tasks
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
Ability to work autonomously
