Lithgow Correctional Centre is a maximum‐security facility for adult male offenders, located in Marrangaroo, approximately 7 km west of Lithgow in the Blue Mountains.
The centre offers psychologists the opportunity to work in a challenging and professionally rewarding correctional workplace, delivering evidence‐based interventions that make a genuine impact.

What you'll do
As a Psychologist or Specialist Psychologist, you will:
Deliver psychological assessment and intervention for remand and custodial populations
Advise on offender mental health and criminogenic risk, including violent and sexual offending
Produce clear, concise reports and clinical documentation
Accurately record case activity in OIMS
Collaborate to drive behaviour change, risk reduction and safe community reintegration
Attending professional development and networking opportunities including the annual CSNSW Psychology Conference
What we're looking for
Ethical, motivated psychologist
Interest in offender and risk‐based practice
Evidence‐based approach to mental health and behaviour
Strong written and consultation skills
Resilient, flexible, and effective with complex needs
Minimum four‐year accredited qualification in psychology
Current full AHPRA registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
Current driver's license and willingness to travel throughout NSW.
