My client is an Australasian Logistics Leader with a standout brand and service across the world. They are an creative service provider that embraces collaboration, learning, and development. Due to continuous growth & expansion they are looking to add an Accounts Clerk to the Head Office team based in Brisbane. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will work in a team with a solid focus on supporting key accounts, and process & compliance excellence. This role will have career progression.

The Role
n
Your main responsibilities as the Accounts Clerk will include:
n
n
Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and within required timeframes.
n
Reviewing and matching supplier invoices against shipments, job files, purchase costs and agreed rates.
n
Preparing and issuing customer invoices for freight, customs, transport and other associated logistics charges.
n
Reviewing job financials and assisting with the identification and resolution of costing or billing discrepancies.
n
Reconciling bank accounts, supplier statements, customer accounts and relevant control accounts.
n




Investigating and following up outstanding or unreconciled transactions.
n
Supporting payroll processing and responding to routine payroll-related queries as required.
n
Assisting the Accountant with month-end processes, including journals, reconciliations and other reporting requirements.
n
Maintaining accurate and well-organised financial records within CargoWise and other business systems.
n
Assisting with general finance and administrative duties as required.
n
Maintaining the accuracy, integrity and confidentiality of company and customer financial information.

Your Experience
n
n
Minimum 2-3 years experience as a Accounts Clerk in a corporate setting
n
Experience in transport, logistics, or warehouse operations would be a bonus
n
Relationship-building skills and strong communication abilities
n
Exceptional attention to detail, along with analytical and problem-solving capabilities
n
Prior experience using CargoWise (CW1) is advantageous
n
