Steelcraft Group is setting the standard in residential steel framing and we are looking for a capable Construction Supervisor to run site delivery across our installation projects. This Supervisor will primarily be focusing on the Brisbane/Ipswich/Gold Coast area.
This is a hands-on, site-based leadership role suited to someone who takes ownership, holds high standards and enjoys working closely with builders, install crews and internal teams to deliver quality outcomes safely and on time.
While you will be supervising multiple builds at any one time, your focus is one trade only, steel framing. Steelcraft is both the manufacturer and installer, which means clear scope, strong systems and straightforward communication without the complexity of coordinating multiple trades and suppliers.
This clarity allows you to concentrate on safety, accuracy, crew leadership and builder relationships, rather than managing entire projects from site cut through to handover.
For supervisors coming from the tools or from subcontracting, this role offers a genuine alternative to running your own trade business. You can focus on delivery and leadership without chasing work, managing overdue invoices or dealing with the headaches that comes with contracting. Key Responsibilities
Supervise residential steel frame installations across multiple sites




Coordinate and lead install crews to achieve safety, quality and delivery targets
Ensure sites are ready prior to installation and issues are resolved early
Maintain strong working relationships with builders, site supervisors and internal teams
Enforce safety systems and ensure compliance with WHS requirements
Identify problems early and take ownership of practical solutions
Uphold Steelcraft standards for workmanship, professionalism and service
Accurately report progress, issues and outcomes
About You
You take pride in doing things properly and understand that leadership on site sets the tone for everyone else.
You may have come from a trade background, subcontracting or supervising crews on the tools and are now looking for a role that offers structure, clarity and stability without the pressure of running your own business.
Ideally you will have:
Experience as a Construction Supervisor or Site Supervisor in residential construction
Trade or subcontractor background highly regarded
Exposure to and solid understanding of residential house framing
Strong understanding of site safety and construction sequencing
Clear communication skills and confidence communicating with builders and subcontractors
A proactive mindset focused on ownership and outcomes
A current driver's licence and white card
