We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our Perth (Malaga) team on a full time, permanent basis. Reporting into the Supply Chain Director, APAC, you will be responsible for the dispatch, receipt and management of goods within the distribution centre with a focus on timeliness, accuracy, efficiency and cost effectiveness. People leadership will also be a core responsibility, and you will oversee warehouse staff, ensuring they are performing as a high-performance unit to meet KPI's.

Specifically, your responsibilities will include;
n
Leadership and management responsibilities including recruitment, engagement, performance management, and career development for a large warehouse team.
n
Creating, maintaining and guiding safe work practices, ensuring all employees receive appropriate training and comply with safe work practices.
n
Developing and maintaining effective and efficient work processes and procedures in conjunction with the Supply Chain Director.
n
Optimising resources across the site, including planning and directing the distribution of products and employee workflows to ensure that distribution, despatch and delivery remain consistent with agreed service levels.
n
Co-ordination of cycle counts, and stock takes within the distribution centre.
n
Ultimate responsibility for security of the premises, inventory and staff members.

About You
n
To be successful you will have;
n
Formal qualifications in Warehousing,



Logistics or Business (preferred).
n
Demonstrated 5+ years experience in warehousing operations at a senior level within a high-volume warehouse.
n
Previous experience within Pharmaceuticals, FMCG, Animal Health or Medical Devices.
n
Experience leading and coaching high performing teams coupled with a strong desire to create departmental success.
n
A working knowledge of import and export regulations and procedures.
n
Willingness to chip in and support the achievement of team goals as needed.
n
Personal resilience under pressure.
n
Advance skills with Warehouse Management and Freight Management Systems.
n
Intermediate skills in MS Office, MS Excel.
n
Experience in facilities management and site management.
n
Previous experience utilising warehouse tracking and operational software packages (Dematic, Voice Pick & RF desirable).
