TRS Resourcing is seeking a motivated Apprentice Boilermaker for one of our established clients within the manufacturing sector.
n
This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys working with their hands, has a genuine interest in welding and fabrication, and wants to develop a long-term career as a qualified tradesperson.
n
You will work alongside experienced tradespeople in a busy workshop environment, gaining practical exposure to fabrication, welding, assembly and general manufacturing processes.
n
Previous workshop experience is advantageous; however, we are primarily looking for someone with the right attitude, reliability and genuine commitment to completing their trade qualification.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
MIG welding and general fabrication
n
Measuring, marking out and preparing materials
n
Cutting, drilling and grinding
n
Assisting with fabrication and assembly
n
Learning to read and interpret engineering drawings
n
Using hand and power tools safely
n
Developing welding and fit-up techniques
n
Maintaining a clean and protected work area
n
Following workshop procedures and instructions
n
Assisting qualified tradespeople with day-to-day production requirements
n
n
As your skills and experience develop, you will progressively take on more complex fabrication work and greater responsibility.

About You We're Looking For Someone Who

Is genuinely interested in becoming a Trade Qualified Boilermaker
n
Enjoys practical and hands-on work
n
Has good mechanical aptitude
n
Is willing to learn welding and fabrication techniques
n
Can confidently use basic hand and power tools
n
Is reliable and punctual
n
Has good attention to detail
n
Takes workplace safety seriously
n
Can follow instructions and work effectively within a team
n
Has full Australian working rights
n
n
Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, welding, mechanical work or as a Trades Assistant would be highly regarded but is not essential. Candidates who have already commenced a Boilermaker or Fabrication apprenticeship are also encouraged to apply.
