About the role
Little Village Therapy is looking for a warm, curious and collaborative Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing team in Sutherland.
You will support children and families across a range of ages, strengths and support needs. The role includes individual therapy, assessments, parent collaboration, school consultation and opportunities to participate in group programs.
We want our clinicians to feel supported to think deeply, keep learning and deliver meaningful therapy without feeling like they have to figure everything out alone.
Key responsibilities
Deliver neuroaffirming, relationship-based occupational therapy
Plan and provide individual and group-based intervention
Complete functional assessments, cooperative goal-setting, reports and clinical documentation
Work closely with parents, educators and other professionals
Support children across clinic, home, preschool and school environments where appropriate
Participate in mentoring, team meetings, case discussions and professional development
Contribute ideas and share knowledge within the team
Manage a sustainable caseload and work toward agreed billable expectations
About you
Is genuinely curious and motivated to continue developing their clinical skills
Takes initiative and follows through on commitments
Is reflective, open to feedback and comfortable asking questions
Communicates thoughtfully and respectfully
Builds trusting relationships with children, families and colleagues
Approaches challenges with curiosity, flexibility and emotional awareness




Enjoys collaborating while also being able to work independently
Is organised and reliable in managing clinical responsibilities
Values neuroaffirming, trauma-informed and strengths-based practice
Wants to contribute to a supportive and evolving team culture
You will also hold, or be eligible to hold, AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist, along with the required working-with-children, police and professional checks.
