Villanova College is seeking a full-time continuing Engineering Teacher to commence in Term 1, ****.

This role offers the opportunity to teach Engineering across Years 7 to 12, working alongside motivated students and a collegial faculty in a school committed to academic excellence and the formation of the whole person. Key Responsibilities
n

Teach Engineering across a range of year levels, including the Australian Curriculum and QCAA Senior Syllabuses
n
Plan and deliver engaging, hands-on learning experiences that build design thinking, problem-solving and technical literacy
n
Design and implement assessment and feedback practices aligned to QCAA and ACARA requirements
n
Monitor student progress and use evidence to inform teaching decisions
n
Contribute to faculty planning, moderation and curriculum development
n
Maintain a positive, inclusive and academically focused classroom setting
n

About You
n
The successful applicant will:
n
n
Hold tertiary qualifications in education with a specialisation in Engineering or similar discipline
n
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a commitment to contemporary, evidence-based pedagogy
n
Show capacity to engage students through practical, project-based and design-centred approaches
n




Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students across the full range of abilities
n
Build positive, respectful relationships with students, colleagues and families
n
Support and participate in the spiritual life and mission of the College, including co-curricular involvement
n
