What you'll do
n
As a Graduate Accountant, you'll work closely with experienced team members while gaining exposure to a broad range of accounting and business advisory services.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and income tax returns
n
Preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS)
n
Supporting team members with client work and workflow management
n
Providing bookkeeping and cloud accounting services
n
Assisting with client communications and relationship management
n
Participating in client meetings and developing your professional and advisory skills
n

What we're looking for

At Rogerson Kenny, technical skills are important, but so are people skills.
n
We're looking for graduates who enjoy working with people, communicating with clients, and developing into trusted advisers over time.
n
Ideally, you'll have:
n
n
Tertiary qualifications (completed or near completion) with a major in Accounting
n
Strong computer and technology skills
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
Confidence communicating with clients and building professional relationships, both in person and over the phone
n
The ability to explain information clearly and professionally to clients, colleagues and business owners
n
A positive, proactive attitude and genuine willingness to learn
n
Strong attention to detail
n
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
n
