Ballarat Day Procedure Centre (BDPC) comprises three operating theatres and 17-day oncology chairs, offering a broad range of surgical services. Specialties include Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, IVF, Plastics, Gastroenterology, Ophthalmology, ENT, General Surgery and Dental.

We support more than 10,000 patients each year across Ballarat, the Central Highlands and Greater Western Victoria.

We are seeking an experienced CSSD Technicians to join us on a casual basis. Hours of operation are Monday to Friday.
n
The key responsibilities of this role include reprocessing and sterilisation of instruments and equipment according to hospital and Australian Standards.

To be successful in your application for this position, you will have:
n
A knowledge of the principles of disinfection and sterilisation standards
n
A high level of efficiency & accuracy
n
Knowledge of and adherence to safe work practices
n
The ability to manage time and workflow within a multi-disciplinary team
n
Process excellent communication skills
n
An enthusiastic approach in the delivery of high standard of care
n




Certificate III in Sterilization Services or equivalent qualification
n
