Perf's Fabrication & Welding Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and motivated
Trade Assistant
to join our growing team, servicing a range of fabrication projects and mine sites throughout the Hunter Valley.
We are looking for someone who has a strong work ethic, takes pride in their work and is keen to develop their skills within the fabrication industry. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous workshop, fabrication, construction or mine-site experience who enjoys hands‐on work and being part of a team.

About the Role
Working on a
Monday to Friday roster
, you will provide support to our boilermakers and welders across a variety of heavy and light fabrication, maintenance, repair and installation projects.
Your duties may include:
Assisting boilermakers and welders with fabrication and maintenance work
Preparing materials for fabrication
Cutting, grinding, drilling and cleaning materials
Using hand and power tools
Moving and handling materials and equipment
Assisting with the setup and pack‐up of work areas
General workshop duties and housekeeping
Assisting tradespeople with day‐to‐day tasks
Working safely and maintaining a clean and organised work environment
Following all workplace and mine‐site safety requirements
