Are you practical, mechanically minded and looking to build a long-term career in a specialised trade?

We are looking for an enthusiastic entry-level team member who is willing to learn commercial pool filtration installation. Previous pool industry experience is not required-we will provide hands-on training and support from experienced filtration specialists and our engineering team.
n
You will work on premium commercial swimming pools for hotels, apartment facilities, aged care developments and other major projects across Australia.
n
About the Role
n
This is a hands-on, site-based role where you will learn how to install, test and commission commercial pool filtration and hydraulic systems.
n
You will initially work under the guidance of experienced team members, with your responsibilities increasing as your skills and technical knowledge develop.
n
Regular interstate travel is a key requirement of this position.
n
Your Responsibilities
n
n
Assist with the installation of commercial pool filtration and hydraulic systems.
n
Learn to install pumps, filters, valves, pipework and chemical dosing equipment.
n
Assist with system testing, commissioning and fault-finding.
n
Read and interpret drawings, specifications and equipment schedules with support.
n
Use hand and power tools safely and correctly.
n
Work cooperatively with builders, subcontractors and other trades.

Follow site safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
n
Maintain tools, equipment and accurate site documentation.
n
Develop your technical knowledge through practical, on-the-job training.

About You
n
We are looking for someone who:

Is reliable, punctual and willing to learn.

Is practical, mechanically minded and enjoys hands-on work.
n
Takes pride in producing high-quality work.
n
Can follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
n
Has good communication and problem-solving skills.
n
Is comfortable working on construction sites.
n
Holds a current Australian Driver Licence.
n
Is willing and able to travel interstate throughout the year.
n
Is physically capable of performing a hands-on installation role.
n
n
Experience in plumbing, mechanical work, construction, irrigation, water treatment or a similar field would be beneficial but is not essential.
n
A Construction White Card is preferred; however, assistance may be provided to obtain one for the right candidate.
