We areseeking to employ a General Practice Solicitor, on a permanent basis.
Ideally, but not necessarily, the Solicitor will have a minimum of 3 years of experience - and pre-admission experience will be considered. The Solicitor will need to have experience in liaising with clients, taking instructions from clients, preparing statements and Affidavitsand Court documentation, undertaking extensive legal research, as well as providing written and verbal legal advice to clients.
The Solicitor will need to hold a NSW Practicing Certificate and will also ideally have studied law in a Current South Wales University, considering that the role will involve primarily the practice of NSW Law in NSW Courts of Law and Tribunals.
The successful candidate will also ideally have experience in NSW advocacy and will have conducted NSW Court or Tribunal appearances, across one or more practice areas.The Solicitor will also be familiar with briefing Counsel at Courts or Tribunals.
The candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and will need to be willing to work efficiently and should also be available to work remotely and/or after hours on an urgent basis, if and when required.

as well as a passion for learning and technical knowledge, will be critical qualities of the successful candidate.
There will be a focus on being able to prepare succinct and accurate verbal and written legal advice, across a broad range of practice areas.
This will role will involve working from home (WFH) as the usual base for work, as well as some attendance at the Office, when required.
Contractual conditions will include:
The Solicitor will usually be required to carry out work in stages of Billable Recoverable Legal work. The Solicitor is required to be efficient with computer use and at all times commit to working efficiently, to reduce legal costs incurred by clients as much as possible;
The work will need to be conducted during business hours (8.30am to 5.30pm), unless otherwise agreed with us, for a specific task or matter;
A company owned laptop, an additional screen, mouse and keyboard, as well as (possibly) a commercial grade printer/scanner will be provided, to be installed at your home;
