Job Description
Steel fixer role in precast manufacturing, responsible for cutting, bending, assembling and tying reinforcement bars for precast panel bar matts.

Hours of Work:

2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday
n
(Saturdays may be required from time to time)
n
Key responsibilities
n
n
Cut, bend, assemble and tie reinforcement bars for precast panel matts
n
Install cast-in items including plate, lifters, grout tubes, ferrules, rebates, etc.
n
Tie reinforcement bar to a high standard
n
Read and execute precast shop drawings
n
Work autonomously when required and in partnership within a team of steel fixers
n
Maintain strict adherence to OH&S; policies and procedures
n
Communicate professionally and politely with company staff and suppliers
n

About you
n
n
Precast manufacturing experience preferred, but not essential
n
Ability to tie reinforcement bar very well, not just lay mesh sheets
n
Able to read and execute precast shop drawings
