As the Legal Counsel , Capital Projects , you will report to Senior Director, Capital Projects , and work closely with various teams and leadership across the Asia Pacific region , making your mark in a number of ways:
YouwillworkcloselywiththeAirTrunkLegal,SiteSelectionandDevelopmentteamsandotherkeybusinessstakeholders, applying your broadexpertiseand knowledgetolead and drivekeysiteselection,property,planning,leasingandacquisitionworkstreamsacrossthe APJ region.
You Willadviseonnew, significant and uniqueinitiatives, strategiesand processesbeing developedacross thesite selection,property,planning,landacquisitionspaceto enabletherapid expansionofAirTrunkdatacentredevelopmentsacrossAPJ,utilisingyour conceptual thinking to understand advanced issues and implicationsand convey them appropriately.




You willbe able tohone newskillsandexpertiseinrelatedworkstreams asrequired,suchasenergy,construction,developmentandprocurement,applyinganin-depth knowledge ofAirTrunk'sbusiness, operations, technologies andservicesandprovidinglegalsupportonAirTrunk'sstrategic initiatives.
Your Day to Day
Reviewandnegotiatelegalcontracts,andprovidepracticalandcommerciallegaladvice on a range ofproperty andplanningworkstreamsacrossAPJ, and clearly convey advancedinformationconciselyand commercially.
Support theSite Selectionteamto implementnew, or improve onexisting,commercialarrangements and contractual frameworks andpolicies to supporttherapid expansion ofdata centredevelopmentsthroughAPJ.
Monitorandidentifyemergingproperty,foreign investment, planningissuesand developmentsfrom alegalorregulatoryperspective,driveinitiatives toensureawareness,andcomplianceandimprove processes withinAirTrunk, including through training and development of new policies and procedures.
AdvisetheSite Selectionteamasneededtomonitor,manage,andresolveclaims and/ordisputes.
Requirements
Lawdegree from an accredited law school.
Minimum of8yearsin real propertyexperience gained from areputablelawfirmand/orwithinanin-house environment, experience in planninga plus.
Experience in advising across a broad range ofproperty-related areas,across APJ markets.




Demonstrated ability to apply sound judgement and commercial acumen to a rangeofnegotiations,whilstdeliveringpracticallegaladvicethat manages risk.
Ability to autonomously and efficiently managemultipleworkstreams,prioritiesandstakeholders.
Excellentnegotiation,relationshipbuildingandstakeholder management skills.
Enjoys being challenged, has a "can do" attitude, is prepared to goabove and beyondand is eager to learn and develop an in-depth knowledge ofAirTrunk'sbusiness and operations.
