The Opportunity
n
Survey Management Solutions (SMS) is seeking an experienced Senior Surveyor to join our growing South Australian team.
n
This is a primarily office-based role focused on survey computations, data management, 3D modelling, quality assurance, and technical support for our field teams. You'll play a key role in ensuring survey deliverables are accurate, efficient, and ready to support successful project outcomes.
n
As a senior member of the team, you'll also mentor junior staff and contribute to the ongoing development of our survey systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities
n

Prepare and review survey computations and set-out data
n
Create and manage 3D models for construction projects
n
Conduct QA/QC checks on survey deliverables
n
Provide technical support to field surveyors and machine guidance operators
n




Manage survey data and project documentation
n
Liaise with project teams and clients to deliver project requirements
n
Train and mentor junior surveyors
n
Assist with project planning, resourcing, and quotations
n
n
About You
n
n
Qualification in Surveying, Spatial Science, Geomatics, or similar
n
Strong experience in survey computations and construction surveying
n
Experience with GPS, Total Stations, machine guidance, and survey software
n
Sound understanding of QA processes and survey validation
n
Solid communication and organisational skills
n
Ability to work independently and support multiple projects
n
