A newly created leadership role has opened up with an established operator of business-critical data centre facilities across Australia. You'll take single-point operational leadership across three sites, with a explicit path to grow into a wider remit as the portfolio expands.

What You'll Be Doing

Providing operational oversight and leadership across three data centres (across NSW and VIC)
n
Directly managing and supporting the Facilities Managers at each site, lifting consistency in operational standards, technical rigour and performance
n
Acting as the senior on-the-ground leader for a combined team of around 30 site-based staff
n
Coaching, guiding and, where needed, challenging site-level teams using your own deep operational knowledge
n




Partnering with senior leadership on operational reporting and performance
n
Playing a key role in future site expansion planning as the business grows
n

What We're Looking For
n
n
Experience in data centre operations, with solid hands-on knowledge of DC facility operations
n
Strong technical grounding in critical DC infrastructure, paired with the ability to lead through site managers
n
Comfortable being genuinely on-site and hands-on, based from a data centre rather than a corporate office
n
Willing to be mobile across Sydney sites and travel to Melbourne periodically
n
Motivated by the chance to grow the role as the business expands
