Quality Assurance Coordinator – Automotive Manufacturing

Our client is a well-established Australian manufacturer operating within the automotive industry, with a strong reputation for quality, technical expertise and continuous improvement.

Based in Thomastown, this is an opportunity to join an experienced Quality team within a stable, established manufacturing environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1–3 yearsexperience in quality within automotive, engineering or a similar manufacturing environment who wants to continue developing their career.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
n
n
Conduct product and process quality inspections and audits
n
Perform routine process and 6S audits
n
Monitor and follow up corrective actions
n
Coordinate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
n
Maintain controlled documents, procedures, work instructions and quality records
n
Monitor product quality trends and prepare quality reports
n
Support internal, customer and certification audits
n
Assist with calibration records and inspection equipment control
n
Assist with Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) activities when required
n
n
ABOUT YOU:
n
Ideally, you will have:
n
n
1–3 years' experience in a quality role within automotive, engineering or a similar manufacturing environment
n
A Certificate IV, Diploma or tertiary qualification in Quality,
Manufacturing, Engineering or a related discipline, or currently be studying towards one
n
Working knowledge of ISO **** and ISO *****
n
Exposure to IATF ***** would be highly regarded
n
Experience with document control and quality record management
n
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
n
Good written and verbal communication skills
n
Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
n
A practical, positive attitude and willingness to learn
n
An interest in continuous improvement and developing your quality career
n

$75,000 – $80,000 + super, depending on experience
