We are seeking an experienced and motivated
Operations Supervisor
to join our client's team and play a key role in the successful day to day operation of our site.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands on supervisor who enjoys working with people, coordinating operational activities and building strong relationships with commercial customers.
You will be responsible for coordinating workflow, logistics, stock and resources while leading a diverse team of
Disability Support Workers
to ensure customer requirements are consistently met and work is completed to a high standard.
About the Role
Working closely with the Site Manager and the operational team, you will oversee the daily workflow and ensure the right people, resources and materials are available to meet customer deadlines.
You will be a visible and supportive leader who is comfortable working on the floor, coordinating a diverse workforce and managing competing operational priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and manage staff
rosters
to ensure appropriate coverage and resources are available.
Complete customer invoicing and associated administration using
Excel
.
Unload incoming stock, conduct inventory checks and maintain accurate stock records.
Allocate warehouse space and ensure stock is stored efficiently.
Allocate work across the workflow and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are achieved.
Ensure the required people, equipment, materials and resources are available to complete work efficiently.




Coordinate logistics and liaise with commercial customers regarding incoming pallets, work progress and expected completion timelines.
Provide regular updates to corporate customers and maintain strong, professional relationships.
Manage day-to-day communication with customers to ensure expectations are understood and met.
Work closely with the team on the warehouse floor to ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Lead, support and motivate a diverse team of
Disability Support Workers
.
Foster a positive, inclusive and respectful workplace where team members feel supported and valued.
Manage employees across a broad range of ages, cultural backgrounds and levels of experience.
Identify and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
Ensure workplace procedures, safety requirements and quality standards are followed.
About You
We are looking for an experienced
Operations Supervisor, Warehouse Supervisor, Production Supervisor or Team Leader
who is confident managing people and coordinating a busy operational environment.
You will ideally have:
Previous experience supervising or managing a diverse team.
Experience working with people from a broad range of
ages, cultures and backgrounds
.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.




Experience coordinating rosters, workflow and daily operational activities.
Previous warehouse, logistics, production or commercial operations experience.
Strong customer service and relationship-management skills.
Good Excel and general computer skills.
Excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise with corporate customers.
A practical, hands-on approach to problem solving.
The ability to remain calm, organised and positive in a busy environment.
A genuine interest in supporting and developing people.
