We are currently looking for a reliable, physically capable and hardworking General Storeperson to join our warehouse team in Tullamarine.
n
This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, from receiving and storing incoming goods through to picking, packing and dispatching customer orders.
n
What you'll be doing:
n
n
Receiving and unloading goods from trucks, containers and couriers
n
Checking quantities, product condition and delivery documentation
n
Unpacking, sorting and organising incoming stock
n
Picking and preparing customer and internal orders
n
Packing products securely for dispatch
n
Loading vehicles and assisting with freight preparation
n
Moving and storing stock throughout the warehouse
n
Assisting with stock counts and inventory checks
n
Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and well organised
n
Operating forklifts,



pallet jacks and other equipment where authorised
n
Identifying and reporting damaged stock or warehouse hazards
n
Following all workplace health and safety procedures
n
n
About you
n
We don't expect you to know everything on day one, but you will need a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn and the ability to work safely in a busy warehouse environment.
n
We're looking for someone who is:

Reliable, punctual and hardworking
n
Physically fit and comfortable with regular heavy lifting
n
Safety-conscious with a good understanding of manual handling
n
Practical and willing to get involved
n
Accurate and attentive when handling stock and orders
n
Organised and able to work at a consistent pace
n
Comfortable following processes and instructions
n
Able to work independently and as part of a team
n
Careful when handling products and equipment
n
Positive, dependable and willing to learn
n
n
Previous warehouse, storeperson, logistics or manual-handling experience is preferred.
n
A current forklift licence would be highly regarded, as would experience with pallet jacks, warehouse systems, receiving/dispatch or heavy and bulky products.
