The Role
n
Working within our machine shop environment, you'll support the manufacture, repair and reclamation of precision mining components, working closely with machinists and engineers.
n
You'll be involved in:
n
n
Precision fabrication and weld preparation for machined components




n
Interpreting engineering drawings and tolerances
n
Working to tight specifications to support machining processes
n
Welding to high-quality standards
n
Maintaining dimensional accuracy and alignment
n
Working to ISO **** quality systems
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
Essential:
n
n
Trade Certificate (Boilermaker)
n
Experience in a machine shop or precision workshop environment
n
MIG welding experience
n
Ability to pass weld qualification test to AS******
n
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
n
High attention to detail and quality
n
Solid understanding of workshop safety
n
Reliable, team-oriented work ethic
n
n
Desirable (but not essential):
n
n
ID welding experience (highly desirable)
n
High Risk licences (Forklift, Dogging, EWP, Working at Heights)
n
Confined Space
n
n
