The Opportunity
Kick-start your hospitality career with one of Australia's mostrecognised and well established sporting and entertainmentbrands.
As a full time Apprentice Chef, you will undertake thenationally recognised SIT***** - Certificate III in CommercialCookery while gaining valuable hands-on experience through paid,full-time employment with Panthers.
What you'll be doing
Working alongside qualified chefs and experienced hospitalityprofessionals, you'll build practical skills within a large anddiverse hospitality operation. Exposure to busy service periods,functions and events will provide a strong foundation for yourfuture career and may lead to further opportunities across PanthersGroup.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with food preparation and service
Supporting larder and fryer operations, with opportunities toprogress to grill duties
Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic kitchen
Assisting with functions and banquets across the Club
Learning practical skills and industry standards fromexperienced hospitality professionals

You're enthusiastic, reliable and ready to begin yourhospitality career. You'll also bring:
A genuine interest in food and the hospitality industry
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Punctuality, reliability and commitment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
PRIDE in your work and the confidence to show initiative




The ability to remain calm and work efficiently in a busyenvironment
A commitment to completing SIT***** - Certificate III inCommercial Cookery
Flexibility to work a full-time roster, including evenings,weekends and public holidays as required
