An established and patient-focused dental practice in Toowoomba is seeking an experienced dental professional to take on a Practice Coordinator position.
This is a diverse role that combines clinical support, team leadership, customer service, and operational coordination. You will play an integral part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice while helping create a positive experience for patients and a supportive environment for the clinical team.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys being hands-on, takes ownership of their work, and is passionate about delivering exceptional standards of care and service. This is a permanent full-time role.
What You'll Be Doing
As Practice Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
Assisting clinicians with chairside procedures when required
Supporting the daily operations of a busy dental practice
Coordinating patient appointments and managing scheduling requirements
Handling patient enquiries and providing a high level of customer care
Overseeing sterilisation and infection control processes
Supporting and guiding team members to maintain efficient workflows
Managing administrative tasks and practice documentation
Ensuring compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and industry standards




Building strong relationships with patients and the wider practice team
Contributing to a positive and collaborative workplace culture
About You
You will bring:
Previous experience working within a dental practice environment
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational and time management abilities
A proactive approach and willingness to solve problems
Confidence working across both clinical and administrative functions
Leadership experience or the ability to coordinate and support team members
High attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent industry experience (desirable)
